Staying Connected to God, Family, and Friends

My brother-in-law emailed this to us the other day.  Many of you have probably seen it before but I hadn’t. I really like it and have thought about it a lot so I thought I would pass it along to you today.  There wasn’t a source listed on the page so I’m sorry I don’t have that information, and I hope that since it’s circulating on the internet the source of origination won’t mind that I am posting it on my blog.

We all have phones and I’m pretty sure we all know how very necessary they are because they are our means of staying connected to our family members and friends.  Here are ten questions that will, hopefully, give us something to think about, give us a boost, and give us that gentle reminder that we sometimes neglect the very scriptures that help us learn how to stay connected to God.

“Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?”

TwitterCellPhone“What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

“What if we flipped through it several times a day?

“What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

“What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

“What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?

“What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?

“What if we used it when we traveled?

“What if we used it in case of emergency?

“This is something to make you go….hmm…where is my Bible?

“Oh, and one more thing.

“Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

“Makes you stop and think ‘where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!”
