Porch Pumpkins

Yes, I know Thanksgiving is over and most of you are probably thinking about Christmas decorations, but I’m not yet.  I still have these pumpkins on my front porch and I’m savoring the last days of November and fall before I start thinking Christmas and winter.

Which brings me to this question:

Does anyone out there know what kind of pumpkins these are?

They are bright orange and some grew fairly flattened on the top and some grew almost completely round.
The package was labeled sugar pumpkins, which is what we usually plant.
But when they grew this is what we got.

At first I was disappointed but I really like them now that I’ve seen them on our front porch and I want to be able to find them again next year.
So, for those of you that know your pumpkins please send their name my way.

Thank you.
Here’s to homey porches decorated with cheery looking pumpkins.

Hi Lori! I think they could be “Cinderella” Pumpkins. I have grown them in the past and loved them.

Stacey – Cincerella pumpkins. What a perfect name for them ~ that is exactly what they look like. Don’t you think? Thanks for letting me know.
