Is it really the middle of October already? I mean really, where has this month {and year} gone? I swear time didn’t pass by this quickly when I was young. Is that a sign of aging? Because I’ve heard that as we get older time passes by more quickly. Aagh. I hope I remember to savor each day and each experience I have so that I don’t feel like my life has been wasted and passed by without me loving it. What about you? Is time passing by quickly for you, too?
I’m in full fall swing though. I’ve harvested all of our pumpkins and pulled up most of our garden. I’m making lots and lots of fresh apple sauce {check out my recipe here}, eating at least two apples a day, making anything I can that has pumpkin in it, bringing out our soup recipes {we’ve made two different soups in the last week}, and loving looking at all of the mums in our yard.
Welcome to the Making Monday Link Party.
The party where you can find fun new creative ideas and tasty recipes shared by amazingly talented people.
Every Monday bloggers stop by to link up their posts and then we can all check out what they are sharing.
By joining in {both bloggers and non-bloggers} you will discover new blogs,
be inspired to make something new, try a yummy new recipe, make new friends, and so much more!
This party is hosted by Gracie and me, and your projects will be shared on both of our blogs.

After looking at all that was linked up at last week’s party it looks like a lot of you are fully embracing fall, too. Fall decorations. Apple, pumpkin, and soup recipes. Halloween costumes, decorations, and recipes.
This week we decided to choose our own features so they are different on both of our blogs. Make sure you click on over to Kitchen Table Art to see if you were featured there.
Here are my features:
#1. Savanah over at A Thrifty Table brings us her Chocolate Salted Caramel Bars. Salted Caramel is all the rage right now and I can’t help it but I’m drawn in, too. Just looking at how she has them stacked up and showing off their defined layers of yummyness has me wishing I could reach right through the screen and grab one. I’ll definitely be making these for a party in the near future.
#2. These owls caught my eye and stole my heart. Rebecca at Living Better Together made this cute owl mobile out of felt. I’m thinking it would look pretty cute in pink and gray for my little grandbaby girl’s nursery. What do you think?
#3. As part of her Household Tips and Tricks from World War II series, Robin at Fluster Buster, has written an awesome post giving us 28 unusual uses for sugar. I can’t believe that I thought sugar was only for sweetening food!
#4. You know how I was talking about loving pumpkin and apple this time of year? Well, Darcy at The Ruffled Stitch is sharing her baked homemade Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Donuts and Cinnamon-Sugar Apple Donuts. Baked is better for us than fried, right? So we can eat more than one. She uses a muffin pan that she temporarily converts into a donut pan and I just love their rustic-homey delicious look.
Ladies thank you so much for linking these fabulous posts up with us last week!
I hope that you will grab a feature button and be sure to share the party with your friends!!
Please know that we appreciate you and hope you will link up with us again this week
and share your fabulous projects.
After you link up, please grab a button and place it on your blog or add a text link back to the party.
And, if you’re pinning from any of these featured sites please pin from the original site! Thank you.
Now, on to the party… Making Monday is the place to
share your best projects to kick-start our Monday.
