Making Monday [#11]

Welcome to this week’s Making Monday link party.

makingmondayhosts2

The party where you can find fun new creative ideas and tasty recipes shared by amazingly talented people.
Every Monday bloggers stop by to link up their posts and then we can all check out what they are sharing.
By joining in {both bloggers and non-bloggers} you will discover new blogs,
be inspired to make something new, try a yummy new recipe, make new friends, and so much more!

This party is hosted by Gracie and me {Lori}, and your projects will be shared on both of our blogs.
We love that you’re here and we love featuring you on our social media.  Be sure to follow us so you can see when we feature you.

These are my features from last week’s party:

{Six because I had such a hard time deciding!}

{We choose our own features so make sure you click on over to Kitchen Table Art to see Gracie’s.}

MakingMonday11Features#1.  Janis at He Cares For You is the award-winning author/illustrator of Tadeo Turtle.  In this post she teaches us how to make a Watercolor/Stencil Turtle Art Project.  It looks like a fun project that is simple to do yet the finished result looks nice enough to frame.

#2.  Here’s a Chore Chart/Reward System that is visual and interactive for children and parents.  Janell at Mama Gets It Done shares how she is teaching her children the value of work and helping around the house to keep everything running smoothly and she has simple reward coupons for jobs well-done and being responsible.

#3.  Jewelry artist, Rena, from Jewelry Making Journal is sharing a thorough tutorial for hosting a Girl’s Bracelet Beading Party.   She has a lot of experience hosting them herself and is sharing her tips for successful bracelet parties, running the actual beading activity, and adding the fun final touch.  What girl wouldn’t want to have or go to one of these?

#4.  Kay at White Gunpowder shares her recipe for Homemade Applesauce.  Her recipe sounds delicious, her photos are so lovely to look at, and she gives us some packaging ideas for giving it away.

#5.  I adore this Crocheted Rag Rug that Connie at Hill House Homestead shared.  Using cut up fabric {visit her site to see what she uses for inexpensive fabric} in different colors and patterns she crocheted this cute, homey, classic rug.  These machine-washable rugs will last a long, long time.

#6.  This is the time of year we focus on being thankful.  So Molly at Just a Little Creativity gathered some inexpensive supplies and used her talents to create this beautiful Thankful Painting.  With the white painted lettering on the black canvas and the metallic leaves, this is such a lovely eye-catching piece of art.

Thank you ladies for linking up these fabulous posts last week!

Honestly, I would feature each and everyone of you
every week if I could.  That’s how impressed I am with
everything that’s shared here.

If you were featured feel free to grab a feature button, link up again this week, and be sure to share the party with your friends.
The more the merrier!!

A Bright and Beautiful Life
Please know that we appreciate you and
hope you will link up with us again this week to share your fabulous projects.
